We aim to offer a variety of classes here at the centre. We try to provide classes that will appeal to the local community, so if there is a class you would particularly like to go to please let us know and we will do our best to try and run it. Also, if you there is a subject that you would particularly like us to run then please get in touch.

Classes are usually one to two hours long, and run on weekday evenings for a six to eight week block.

Upcoming Classes

We are currently setting our Spring classes. If there are any classes/activities you would like to see run or re run at the centre please let us know and we will endevour to get these set up if not for these sessions but maybe the next dependant on tutor availability.

British Sign Language Classes

Whether for work or for daily life sign language is a useful skill to learn and classes will soon be available at the centre.
6 x 3 hourly sessions with a final exam at the end of the course to gain certification.

Watercolour Workshop

Time: Saturday 3rd March 10-4pm
Cost: £40 per person

This one day workshop with Ros Rowell will enable you to learn and grow in confidence with watercolour techniques. Please feel free to bring your own paper, paints and brushes. Paper, paints and other materials will be available to purchase on the day. Tea, coffee and shortbread will be provided but we ask you to please bring your own packed lunch.

Gaelic Classes - Beginners level

Time: Starts Wednesday 29th February, 10 week course, 7-9pm
Cost: per person (TBC)

Clì Gàidhlig courses are registered for ILA Scotland funding.

Computer Classes - beginners level

Time:From Tuesday 17th April 9.15 am - 11.15 am
Duration: 10 week course
Cost: £75 per person

Jack Sutherland will guide you through various components in basic computer skills in this 10 week course.
You will learn about how to use your computer effectively, using Word and other applications, email and internet as well as many other skills.
This is non accredited course but a certificate of attendance will be provided stating skills covered.
