Starting on Monday 20th June, 7-9pm for an intial meeting and expedition planning.
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th of June for a two day expedition(Torridon or Cairngorms)
Saturday 20th August will be a full day assessment.

Participants need to be experienced walkers with previous Bronze or Silver Awards.
Camping equipment will also be required.

Enter the Mince Pie competition too! All entries should be brought to the centre by 10am. There are 3 age categories which can be entered - 3-10 yrs, 10-14 yrs and 15-120yrs. There is a prize and certificate for each category.

In the final hour you can have your gifts wrapped, enjoy a nice glass of wine/beer and nibble on shortbread for only £2.50! (only available from 12.30-1.30pm)

We'd like to thank all those who have taken part in arranging the ceilidh and hope that we can re arrange it in the near future.

The Kite Runner tells the story of Amir, a young boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who betrayed his best friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara servant, and lives in regret. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan through the Soviet invasion, the mass exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the rise of the Taliban regime. Hassan dies before the end of the book, and before Amir has a chance to see him again.
