Although we were not successful we are delighted with the amount of support and interest that the energyshare vote promoted. A HUGE thank you to everyone who voted and encouraged other people to vote. As a small village it was hard to compete against some of the large towns in England. If anyone can think of other ways to safe money or improve the energy efficiency with little or no money, then please get in touch with us.

We need your votes for the energyshare in the Small project category. We have competed against over 1000 other projects and it is now narrowed down to just 7 projects in our categy. A great acheivement for a small community centre.
Even if you registered your support before we now need you to vote again for us and while you are voting, please also vote for Portobello & Leith Community Wing Energy Project which is in the Medium category as they are the only other Scottish Project.
Thanks

Hundreds of projects around Britain have been battling it out over the past 6 months in a bid for funding. We are the only charity in the Highlands to have made it through to the final vote. Our project is based on the practical things we can do to the centre to make it more efficient and so save money on our electricity bill.
We have had a great deal of support but need the whole of the Highlands to get behind us and vote for us.
Strathpeffer Community Association is hoping to increase the efficiency of the community centre by putting in sensor lights, new thermostat controls, automated front doors and improved insulation. Please sign-up and vote for us in the small project category. Thank you!
