At the community centre on the 7th August the market theme will be fairtrade.
PLUS PLANTS - so come and stock up for your garden.
Come along to view the usual stalls which include selling produce such as fresh bread, vegetables, home baking, pictures and cards, jewellery and museum displays. Plus fairtrade related products.

Closing details for Christmas: The centre will be closed the evening of Wednesday 23rd December and will re-open on Monday 11th January. We wish everyone a peaceful and happy christmas and new year.

The Village Market will be open on Saturday 19 December from 9.30am for those final items of Christmas shopping.

The Kite Runner tells the story of Amir, a young boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who betrayed his best friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara servant, and lives in regret. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan through the Soviet invasion, the mass exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the rise of the Taliban regime. Hassan dies before the end of the book, and before Amir has a chance to see him again.
