At Strathpeffer Community Centre we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and value for money, offering some of the most competitive prices in the area. We provide a high quality meeting and training space in an excellent location, easily accessible from most places in the Highlands.
Our facilities are suitable for meetings, interviews, group work or training sessions, and can seat up to two hundred people. We offer a variety of different room set ups to ensure that the room is suitable for your specific needs.
We also pride ourselves on our superb catering. We use the Strathpeffer based Red Poppy Restaurant, who provide delicious freshly-made soup, sandwiches and hot and cold buffets. We bake our own cakes and biscuits at the centre, including shortbread, scones, lemon drizzle cake, chocolate cake and fruit loaf. We also offer freshly made Fairtrade tea and coffee. Please make us aware of any special dietary requirements and we will ensure they are catered for.
There is WIFI operating throughout the centre, and we have twelve laptops available for hire. Digital projectors, TV, DVD, flip charts and whiteboards are also available.
We have a smaller Meeting Room which can seat twelve in a boardroom style layout, and up to twenty in a larger layout. This room is also suitable for one to one interviews, consultations or tuition.
There is the Activity Room which can seat up to forty people, and can be used as a break out room to allow small groups from a meeting or conference to have seperate discussions or workshops. This room is often used for craft based activities as it also has a sink and drying area.
There is also the larger Community Room, which can hold up to sixty people in a variety of different lay outs. This is suitable for larger meetings, presentations, workshops and training sessions. It is located adjacent to the kitchen with a hatch that is ideal for serving food and also for food related events.
Our largest room is the Main Hall, which seats up to two hundred people. This is an excellent facility for large conferences, weddings, clubs and active training sessions. We share the hall with Strathpeffer Primary School who use it during school hours in term time and have priority use of the area, but it is available for booking most evenings, weekends and school holidays .
