Welcome to Strathpeffer Community Centre
We are a charitable run community centre. Here you will find information on a range of activities including children's groups, fitness and the new learning centre. In addition you will find information for our business customers regarding room hire, catering arrangements, booking forms and price lists. Don't forget we can hold weddings and large family functions.
The centre is located next to Strathpeffer Primary School in the picturesque village of Strathpeffer in Ross-Shire. We are always trying to improve the centre and the services we provide to the local community; we would like to hear your views.

Winter weather has health implications for us all because our bodies react differently to the cold as we get older. Vulnerable people including the elderly are particularly at risk, as they may not sense they are getting cold until their body temperature falls to a dangerous level.
With a little preparation you can use simple exercises and techniques to warm yourself up from the inside out, to keep the body mobile, flexible and strong throughout the winter months, improving your physical and mental well-being without drastically changing your routine.
Keep muscles working
Muscles need to be on the move to keep healthy and strong, to lower the risk of falling, to generate inner heat and to use body fat as its energy source. Have you heard of the saying, "Use it or lose it"? You can help your muscles stay strong and healthy by exercising on a regular basis.
Come along to our Winter Warming and Fall Prevention exercise sessions, and you will learn simple exercises and techniques to keep you warm and moving during the winter months to come. All medical conditions will be taken into consideration.
